<font size="2">일렉트로닉·아츠는 11월 25일, Wii 최신작 「나와 심즈의 거리( 가칭) 」의 프라이빗 데모＆설명회를 개최하였다.<br/>
이 발표회에는 개발팀의 로빈·하니키씨와 우에노 마사히로씨가 참여하였다.<br/>

<font size="2">　Sims 시리즈의 최신작인 Wii 「나와 심즈의 거리( 가칭) 」.지금까지 시리즈에서는 리얼 8등신의 캐릭터였지만, 비주얼 이미지를 완전히 바꾸었다.<br/>

사진을 보면 귀엽고 팝적인 캐릭터로 되어 있다.<br/>
이것은 「Wii 는 일본의 게임기이기 때문에  일본 유저를 고려하여 비주얼 이미지의 변경에 이르렀다.<br/>

개발 당초부터 일본인이 받아 들이기 쉬운 것을 의식하였습니다 ( 우에노씨) 」<br/>
발표회에서는 게임 시스템에 대해서는 접할 수 없었지만, 기존의 시리즈와 같이 「심즈」의“생활”에 초점을 맞추고 있었다.<br/>

<font size="2">　또, 이번 설명회에서는 개발 도중의 데모판으로 시리즈의 키라고 할 수 있는 요소<br/>
“캐릭터 메이킹”과 “건물의 커스터마이즈”를 체험할 수 있었다.<br/>
<br/>
개발 초반이지만 Wii 콘을 마우스와 같이 취급하는 조작은 꽤 쾌적.<br/>
<br/>
캐릭터 메이킹에서는 머리카락이나 목, 입, 옷 등에 포인트를 맞추어 A 버튼이나 B 트리거를 누르는 것만으로 변경 가능.<br/>
하나하나 항목을 선택하고, 파트를 변경하는 번거로움이 없어졌다..<br/>
