소니컴퓨터엔터테인먼트코리아(이하 SCEK, 대표: 카와우치 시로)는 PlayStation®3(이하 PS3™) 및 PlayStation®4(이하 PS4™)용 타이틀 ‘Destiny’를 2014년 10월 16일에 국내 정식 발매한다.

Halo®의 제작사 Bungie와 Call of Duty®의 배급사 Activision이 만나 제작한 장대한 모험 서사시 ‘Destiny’는 지금껏 경험한 적 없는 진정한 차세대 게임만의 엔터테인먼트 체험을 선사할 기대작으로 손꼽혀 왔다.

‘Destiny’에서 플레이어는 엄청난 힘을 소유한 지구상 마지막 도시의 가디언(수호자)으로, 태양계의 고대 유적들을 탐사하며 화성의 붉은 모래언덕부터 금성의 우거진 정글에 이르기까지 우주 곳곳에서 적들을 물리치며 인류의 잃어버린 것들을 찾아 전설이 되는 대장정을 그리게 된다.

드넓은 우주에서 펼치는 깊이 있는 모험을 통해 1인칭 게임 장르의 새로운 길을 제시하는 ‘Destiny’는 광활하고 끊임없이 펼쳐진 온라인 세계에서의 협동과 경쟁, 그리고 플레이어 개개인들의 행동이 어우러진 다양한 소셜 체험을 제공한다.

PlayStation®으로 출시되는 ‘Destiny’에는, 멀티플레이용 맵과 협동 스트라이크 미션을 포함한 독점적인 무기와 우주선, 방어구들이 독점적으로 제공되며, ‘Destiny’ 와 PS4™를 함께 구입하기를 희망하는 게이머들을 위해 PlayStation®Plus(PS Plus) 12개월이 포함된 ‘글레이셔 화이트’, ‘제트 블랙’ 번들도 발매될 예정이다.

PS4™용 ‘Destiny’의 온라인 멀티플레이 게임 모드를 모두 이용하기 위해서는 PS Plus가 필수이기 때문에 PS Plus 1개월 무료 체험권이 동봉되며, PlayStation®파트너샵에서는 Destiny 이미지로 디자인된 PS Plus 12개월 이용권 카드(1개월 이용권 추가 증정) 를 한정 수량으로 판매할 예정이다. 초회 한정 보너스로는 12가지 무기와 헬멧 아이템이 포함된 “Vanguard Armory”가 제공된다. (다운로드 버전은 발매 후 2주간 제공)
