by our fellow member djstriker91, found out a new exploit that sony simply did not fix, the USB PORT!!!. You need

A PC
A PSP 2.5,2.01 right now, (2.6 sorry, you need to wait until next versions come out or if they change the data.psr to like wenolikehomebrew.psr with diffrent encryption your screwd)
MEMSTICK (32mb is fine)
A 1.5 EBOOT, and the 2.6 EBOOT for 2.5 Users/2.5 EBOOT for 2.01 users

Steps... only way for right now, (but Ragnarok is researching the USB cable lolz, to just easen the steps! thanks Ragnarok!)

1. Go to PSP and select USB Mode
2. Put in the USB cable to your PC and to your PSP
3. Put the 2.5 update to X:\PSP\GAMES\UPDATE\ folder (X:\ is your PSP/memcard reader root)
4. On the USB Mode menu, it will say USB Mode, and you can do stuff read/write from your PC, now this is important, put the PSP away from your desk, like the ground where it won't shake, and on the ground gently/ pull/snuggle/wiggle/wuggle/w.e. out the USB from PSP until it says Connect a USB Cable, BUT STILL RECOGNIZED AND CAN READ AND WRITE FROM PC!
5. Start the 2.5 Update, and in the EULA Agreement mode STOP! and go to your PC and look if the PSP can still read/write on your PC, test it out by copying a small txt file or a image file to the root and opening it after testing, delete the Update (the current one in PSP thats running,) and replace it with the 1.5 Update Eboot
6. Agree to EULA and continue and do your thing! and hello HOMEBREW!! (or hello again!)

NOTE: THERE IS A POSSIBILITY YOU CANNOT UPDATE AGAIN, AND DOWNGRADE TO 1.0 IS IMPOSSIBLE. AND DO THIS ONLY ONCE!!
